How the AI and the review work together
Speed comes from the software. Accuracy comes from the review. Here is what each one does.
The AI reads the set
Every page is classified: unit plans, enlarged kitchen plans, elevations, cabinet and appliance schedules. Sheets that don't matter are set aside. Nothing is missed because it was buried on page 180.
It finds every kitchen by unit type
Each kitchen plan and its elevations are matched to a unit type (Studio, 1BR, 2BR, and variants) using the unit mix. Unit types with no kitchen sheet are flagged immediately.
It drafts the count and flags conflicts
Boxes by type and size, fronts, drawer boxes, fillers, panels, moldings, hardware, and countertop dimensions, each tied to the sheet it came from. Plan-to-elevation mismatches and clearance problems go on a conflicts list.
Every number is reviewed
The draft is checked against the drawings line by line, anything the drawings imply but don't call out is added, and the workbook and marked-up PDF are finalized. Nothing reaches you without that review.

Organized so a supplier can price it and an installer can build from it.
Project totals, unit mix, and the allowances carried, on one page.
Every quantity per unit type (Studio, 1BR, 2BR, and so on) multiplied out by the unit count.
Every box, front, panel, filler, molding, and hardware item by type and size, with the sheet it was counted from.
Dimension mismatches, missing details, and clearance issues, written so they can go straight into an RFI.
Marked-up PDF
Your drawings with every counted item marked and labeled, so you can see exactly what was included and check it against the workbook. Conflicts are called out on the sheet where they were found.

What to include
- Floor plans for every unit type, plus enlarged kitchen plans if the set has them
- Kitchen elevations and any cabinet schedule or millwork details
- Appliance schedule (sizes drive filler and panel counts)
- Unit mix, or a plan that shows which unit type is where
- Finish schedule or spec section, if you have one
- Anything you already know is a problem
Your drawings stay private
Stored privately, never shared, deleted after 30 days.
Drawings upload straight into private storage that only our takeoff team can open, through links that expire after 15 minutes. They are never shared with anyone outside your project and never used for anything except your takeoff.
Thirty days after your takeoff is delivered, the drawing files are deleted from storage. Your project history and the finished takeoff stay in your dashboard. Questions? Send a message.
